Our first action is the creation of an exhibition destined to lift the taboo surrounding Amazons.
Full of humour, tenderness and sensuality, it introduces us to Amazons and invites us to familiarise ourselves with their asymmetry, making it less alarming. Women have posed in order to pass on the joyful message of an agreeable life regained, certainly with a different body, but how important is that when there’s life?

Photographers : American, Art Myers and French, Virginie Ribaut
Sculptors : Gérard Bignolais, Stéphanie Chardon, Alemé Heyewotte, Monique Riond, Martine Salavize, Catherine Scellier, Dan Steffan.
Painters : Françoise Bailleul, Christine Muller, Viola Montenot, Véronique Soriano, Dan Steffan.
Film-maker : Marie Mandy

Sixty or so works : paintings, photographs, sculptures and videos. A sound track accompanies the visitor in which we hear Amazons describing and exchanging their experiences in a lively and forthright manner, with much humour and energy. Do you want the exhibition to come to your country, to your town? It’s possible, the exhibition is itinerant. Get in touch with us!

Your experience interests us!

For this exhibition we’re looking for men to recount their discovery of an Amazon’s body, whether it be their partner who has become asymmetrical or that they have met an Amazon. We also want to be able to share the progression each woman has made to overcome the loss, to open other doors and to accept the difference.
